December already??

I’m determined that among all the hustle and bustle I WILL enjoy the quiet moments of Christmas…like the twinkly lights on the tree, watching Christmas movies while sipping on eggnog, the quiet of the winter night.

Here are my favorites from this week…

Favorite positive postA Helpful Guide to Stop Comparing Ourselves to Others (~~becoming minimalist).  VERY important to remember….especially during the holiday season where it always seems that someone is doing everything faster, smarter, and more beautiful…we all have our own traditions and it is way too easy to get caught up in comparing our lives to others and then feeling like we come up short.

Favorite holiday sipHomemade Egg Nog.  LOVE this holiday drink and would love to try making it myself!

  1. Chocolate and peanut butter together is a huge weakness for me. Those sweet treats all look amazing.

Wow the article on comparing oneself to others was eye opening for me. I have been struggling with this ever since the Montreal marathon. It has been emotionally debilitating to some degree and although I acknowledge it as an issue I’m having trouble breaking the behavior. I’ll be re-reading this article from time to time.
