Just spending a nice relaxing night at home…ahh…I LOVE IT!

Have been meaning to post this for a while since I saw it on Meals and Moves…it was fun to think of the answers 🙂

A is for age…  39…YIKES!!!  The big 4-0 next year.

B is for breakfast today…I know if you read this blog at all, then you know this one…one Thomas’ Light Multigrain English muffin with 1/2 tbsp Country Crock, 1 tbsp all-natural peanut butter on one side and Polaner Cherry Jam on the other, with a side of coffee with 3 tbsp flavored creamer, today it was Vanilla Caramel.  Yummy as usual!

C is for currently craving…ICE CREAM 🙂  When am I not craving ice cream??

D is for dinner tonight…Taco Salad…seriously best meal ever!  With 1/2 an orange and a small slice of the brownies I made the other night that are covered with egg-free chocolate chip cookie dough!!!!  Recipe here…you can thank me later 🙂

E is for favorite type of exercise…lifting weights…I love how strong it makes me feel.  Followed by walking/running on the treadmill (although I have to say I don’t enjoy the actually DOING of it, but I love how I feel afterwards).

F is for irrational fear…I really FEAR bees.  I don’t even think this is irrational.

G is for gross food…there are plenty of things…olives, both green and black, canned pumpkin that is not baked into a quick bread, winter squash, soft egg yolks, fat-free milk/sour cream.

H is for hometown…originally from Sheboygan, WI, now my hometown is Agawam, MA.

I is for something important…spending time with Kimm and Izzy

J is for current favorite jam…music wise, it would be Land of Canaan by the Indigo Girls (I play it super loud driving to work, singing my little heart out!) and fruity spread would HAVE to be Polaner Blueberry Jam (if you have not tried this, you really should…so fresh tasting)

K is for kids…only furry ones…Izzy (5-year-old lab), Charlie (10-year-old gray and white domestic cat) and Madeline (10-year-old orange, black and white tabby domestic cat)

L is for current location…my butt is VERY comfortable on our couch 🙂

M is for the most recent way you spent money…not very exciting…BILLS!

N is for something you need…I really need to get a treadmill that will fit in the basement so that I can keep walking/running when our gym memberships expire this May!

O is for occupation…registered nurse, currently ICU but have also worked med/surg, IMC and ED

P is for pet peeve…really hate…slow drivers, loud people, people who disrespect others around them, lazy people.

Q is for quote…so hard to choose because there are so many motivating ones out there, but I chose this one..”You are never too old to set another goal or dream another dream”–C.S. Lewis…one of my favorites and SO TRUE…we only stop living when we stop dreaming 🙂

R is for random fact about you…I have big feet which I HATE…makes buying shoes so much more difficult than it should be (wear usually 12 in women and 10 or 10.5 in men)

S is for favorite healthy snack…LOVE lots of things…veggies and dip, hummus and pretzels, apples, bite size prunes, and of course peanut butter!!!

T is for favorite treat…definitely have to go with something sweet…love my ice cream, or brownies, or cheesecake, oh this is not good thinking of all the good stuff!

U is for something that makes you unique…umm this is a tough one…after thinking for a while, I will go with this…I have never been admitted to the hospital.  Lame I know, but I can’t think of anything else off the top of my head!

V is for favorite vegetable…oh this is so hard…I think it would have to be corn on the cob…but I really love a lot of vegetables…would be tough to live without carrots, celery, broccoli, salad

W is for today’s workout…a walk with the pooch after dinner…25 min.

X is for x-rays you’ve had…only of my teeth…quite boring!

Y is for yesterday’s highlight…since I was working, the highlight was getting up and being able to have dinner with my sweetie…I’m so glad I’m always able to do that!

Z is for your time zone…I had to ask Kimm this because I seriously didn’t know…now that I know, it’s quite obvious…Eastern…hello, I live in one of the most Eastern states!

Quite an uneventful night at work last night (thankfully) and I was able to leave the hospital and get home before any of the major craziness with the St. Patrick’s Day parade started!

Can’t wait to hunker down with some popcorn and watch a movie tonight!
