Today’s topic…music at the gym…

I went to the gym twice last week and have already gone today so I feel like I’m back in my groove (my goal is 2-3 times/week).  I ALWAYS listen to music when I’m at the gym and I like upbeat and motivating songs.

On my playlist…

The Ataris–Bite My Tongue, Make It Last, As We Speak, Let It Go, Hey Kid

The Dollyrots–My Best Friend’s Hot, Brand New Key

Goo Goo Dolls–Slide

Good Charlotte–The Motivation Proclamation, The Young and The Hopeless

I would have to say my favorites are Hit Me With Your Best Shot, F**kin’ Perfect and Good Riddance (Time of Your Life).

I like to feel STRONG when I hear a song when I’m working out and these songs do that for me.

I like lots of other songs and keep meaning to make more playlists, but I keep forgetting.   I think this will be a new goal for me this month.  Maybe I’ll even get some more song ideas when I read the responses from this weeks FFM!


Today just flew by and yet I feel like I hardly did anything!

Going to the gym was a major accomplishment…anytime I can get my lazy butt to the gym is a good thing 🙂

Also went to BJ’s finally to stock up on all of our bulk items (and that cost a pretty penny!).

Then a four-hour inservice at work learning about hypothermic therapy for unresponsive patients status post cardiac arrest.

Home for a simple dinner meal (mac and cheese) and now a movie.

Tomorrow is date night…can’t wait!
