Indian Summer

Monday, October 10, 2011

This past weekend, and today too, are absolutely gorgeous.

Sunny.

Breezy.

But in a different way from summer…

The leaves on the trees are slowly changing to their majestic fall colors…I am still stunned by the brilliant oranges, reds and yellows.

Leaves are drifting down, drying out, and creating that wonderful crunchy street cover.

And it has been warm…so glorious to be sun-kissed…I know I’ll soon be shivering with goose-bumps.

Pumpkins and mums line the streets.

It’s peaceful, yet anticipatory of change.

I LOVE this time of year.

Indian summer don’t leave yet!
