Back to the gym!

I finally made it back to the gym today 🙂

It only took one and 1/2 months since I made the statement that “I was going back to the gym” before it finally happened.  Not bad, in my opinion, especially considering I was sick.

And let me just say, it’s just like riding a bike…you remember everything about it and it’s like you never left.

I walked on the treadmill for 22 minutes, and then did weights–upper and lower body.  I was sweating up a storm.  I’m sure I’ll feel it tomorrow.

So now my goal is to get to the gym 5 more times this month…that will make a total of 6 times in two weeks and I think that is TOTALLY do-able.

Feel much better after my shower and now I’m going to go make dinner.

I’m on for three days but I’m going to do my little trick of just saying, “just one day.”  Every day I do that until I’m done.  Makes it mentally so much easier 🙂
