Dysrhythmia Class–Day One

Monday, March 22, 2010

I have three days of dysrhythmia class this week.  And I’m done with the first one.  We covered sinus rhythms and arrhythmias arising out of the atrium (ex: atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation).  I REALLY like learning this stuff.  There are two other people in my class (not nurses) which takes the pressure off of me answering every question.

Didn’t have much going on today after class–had leftover Chinese and went grocery shopping.  I am catching up on blogs and doing some reading.  I’ll be heading to bed shortly.

Tomorrow I have one day on the floor.  Hopefully this time there will be something interesting…like a Cardizem or Amiodarone drip!   I hate to admit this, but I think I’m getting a little bit more used to getting up early.  Of course I’ll just get totally used to it and then I’ll be switching back to working nights.
