It was a wonderful Christmas.
Yeah, there was the gifts and all, and that made it nice, but the best part was spending time with Kimm and her family and talking to my parents on the phone. Family…loved ones. That’s what the true meaning of Christmas is for me.
Happily, I did get cancelled for the first four hours of my shift, but unfortunately still have to go in at 11 pm. I REALLY wish I had been cancelled for the entire shift. I’m exhausted.
But it is not to be. This is a reminder to me that NEXT year I shall be more organized so I can be more well rested before Christmas so I’m not too tired when I have to work!

I had a wonderful day with you sweetie! I wish you didn’t have to work tonight, though. 😦 Damn the hospital for getting our hopes up!
