Well, after our big snowstorm, today was like a breath of fresh air…literally!  It was a gorgeous day–breezy, sunny, and so spring-like, I was smiling all day!

And I’m so glad I got to go out and be in the day.  I had a lot of errands today and felt like I accomplished a lot.  First and foremost, I FINALLY got a haircut.  I’ve been meaning to do that for more than a couple of weeks now.  It was so thick.  And then I decided I wanted something a bit different, so I colored it as well.  So now my hair, instead of being boring brown, is now sangria! [Basically kind of reddish]  I like it.  Second, I was able to go to the library!  Picked up a few books that were on hold (one was Intuitive Eating which I am anxious to read) and others just from the stack, as well as some magazines (Martha Stewart, Real Simple, Paula Dean and This Old House).  And lastly, I made a meal we haven’t had in a long time for dinner–“Chicken” parmesan with spaghetti, garlic bread and a salad.  It was simple, but really tasty.

Tonight I just want to relax (and have some ice cream–Ben and Jerry’s Half Baked–so yummy–vanilla and chocolate ice cream with brownies and chocolate chip cookie dough!) since it’s my last night off 😦  And I just looked at the weather and it’s supposed to be up to 60 degrees this weekend!  I wish I had off to enjoy it!  But it seems like the warmer weather is on the way.  I just LOVE spring.

On the agenda tomorrow–LAUNDRY.  PAY BILLS.  FILE.  Maybe some reading too 🙂
